Join us as we visit the small medieval town of San Gimignano, Italy. Traveling by car is an adventure, and in this case the new experiences are worth more by car. Standing tall upon a hill in the middle of Tuscan wine country, San Gimignano, born 63 BC, is recognized by the thirteen medieval towers still left standing from the original seventy-two.
We’ll take you through the town on a wine tasting, and an unexpected dinner with the locals. We stumble into a community gathering, yes, without any tourists or English speaking people. Somehow, we navigated through the language barrier, making for a terrific experience that we hope all partake.
We find that people all over the globe are genuinely welcoming and hospitable.
After listening to this podcast, you will want to visit San G, as we affectionately call it.
