Well, it goes something like this: Begin with calmness and a set of expectations that you have developed based upon what you think you know. End with the knowledge of what you think you know is really only the camouflage to what you really don’t know you don’t know. Confusing? Stick with us, it becomes the un-confusing and very amusing story of our Budapest visit over Christmas.
In this episode, we take you right into Budapest with us. We mean it, as Laura says, “literally”. We take you right to the street with us, interviewing a local, name unknown, but candid-ness, if that’s a word, running freely. A sampling of the Christmas markets is in store. A visit with an entrepreneur and owners of the Tasting Table. Communism, Nazi’s, and Hungarian history is strewn throughout. The fun never ends with the sausage nazi, a prison break, or not, and of course our bumbling travel antics, which actually lead to helpful tips for you to avoid our blunders.
We have so much Budapest to share, or as Al says, “We’ve stuffed ten pounds of fun into a five-pound paper bag”. With so much learning and information sprinkled throughout, this podcast becomes part one of our two-part Budapest experience.
